COURSE OVERVIEW

What Is the Quran Translation Course?

Most Muslims can recite far more of the Quran than they understand. This course closes that gap, teaching students the meaning of the verses they already read — word by word, in the order they appear on the page.

Students build a working vocabulary of the most frequently repeated Quranic words, which alone unlocks a large share of the text. Alongside this they learn just enough Arabic grammar to see why a sentence means what it means, and are introduced to Tafsir and the context of revelation.

The aim is not scholarly mastery. It is that a student can stand in salah, hear a familiar surah, and follow the meaning as it is recited.

By the end of this course you will be able to

  • Translate Quranic verses word by word
  • Recognise the most common Quranic vocabulary
  • Understand basic Arabic sentence structure
  • Follow the meaning of surahs recited in salah
  • Reflect on and apply the guidance you read

ONLINE QURAN CLASSES

Learn Quran Translation Online With Al Niyah

Our online Quran translation course is built for the student who recites beautifully but has never known what the verses mean. Taught one-to-one in English by a certified tutor, it moves at whatever pace the student needs, with no group to keep up with.

Understanding changes the way a person prays. Once a student recognises the words of Al-Fatihah, Al-Ikhlas or Ayat al-Kursi as they say them, salah stops being recitation and becomes conversation. That shift is the entire purpose of this course.
