1. About Us

Al Niyah Quran Academy provides online Quran and Islamic education, including:

• Noorani Qaida.
• Quran Reading.
• Quran Translation.
• Quran Memorization.
• Duas.
• Related one-to-one educational support.

2. Acceptance of These Terms

By booking a trial, enrolling in a plan, making a payment or attending a class, you confirm that:

• You have read and accepted these Terms and Conditions.
• You are at least 18 years old or are acting as the parent or legal guardian of the student.
• The information you provide is accurate.
• You have authority to enter into the agreement and make payment.

Where the student is under 18, the parent or guardian is the contracting customer and is responsible for compliance with these terms.

3. Courses and Teaching

Course descriptions are provided for general guidance. The precise lesson plan may be adjusted according to:

• The student’s age.
• Existing knowledge.
• Reading ability.
• Learning speed.
• Attendance.
• Progress.
• Educational goals.

We do not guarantee that a student will achieve a particular result within a particular period. Progress depends on attendance, practice, participation, ability and other individual factors.

4. Free Trial Classes

New students may be offered up to three free trial classes, subject to availability and eligibility.

Trial classes are intended to:

• Assess the student’s current level.
• Introduce the student to the online learning format.
• Help us recommend a suitable course.
• Allow the student to meet a tutor.

A free trial:

• Has no cash value.
• Cannot be transferred or resold.
• May be limited to one trial allocation per student or household.
• May be withdrawn where there is misuse, duplicate registration or repeated non-attendance.
• Does not guarantee a permanent place with the trial tutor.

5. Booking and Enrolment

A booking is confirmed when:

• We accept your enrolment.
• The agreed payment has been received, where applicable.
• A class schedule has been arranged.

We may decline an enrolment where:

• No suitable tutor is available.
• The requested timetable cannot be accommodated.
• The service is not appropriate for the student’s needs.
• There has been abusive, fraudulent or inappropriate conduct.

6. Fees and Payment

Current fees are displayed on the website or communicated during enrolment.

Unless agreed otherwise:

• Fees are charged monthly in advance.
• Payment must be received before the relevant class period begins.
• Fees must be paid using an approved payment method.
• The customer is responsible for applicable bank, currency-conversion or transaction charges.
• Prices are stated in pounds sterling unless another currency is expressly agreed.

We may update our fees by giving reasonable notice. A change will not normally apply retrospectively to lessons that have already been paid for.

7. Family Discounts and Promotions

Family discounts, introductory offers and other promotions:

• Are subject to the conditions communicated with the offer.
• Cannot be exchanged for cash.
• May not be combined unless expressly stated.
• May be withdrawn or changed for future purchases.
• Do not affect lessons already purchased under an accepted offer.

8. Class Scheduling

Classes are arranged according to tutor availability and the agreed timetable.

Students should:

• Join classes on time.
• Use a suitable device and stable internet connection.
• Have working audio equipment.
• Attend from a quiet and appropriate location.
• Keep login and meeting details secure.
• Follow reasonable instructions from the tutor.

Time references are based on the agreed time zone. The customer is responsible for checking differences caused by daylight-saving changes or travel.

9. Student Cancellations and Rescheduling

Contact us as early as reasonably possible if you need to cancel or reschedule a class.

Unless a different policy is confirmed during enrolment:

• At least 12 hours’ notice should be provided to cancel or reschedule a class.
• A class cancelled with sufficient notice may be rearranged, subject to tutor availability.
• A class missed or cancelled with less than 12 hours’ notice may be treated as used.
• Repeated rescheduling may require a permanent timetable change.
• Make-up classes must be used within a reasonable period agreed with us.

We may make reasonable exceptions for emergencies or exceptional circumstances.

10. Tutor Cancellations

Where a tutor cannot attend, we will normally:

• Arrange a replacement tutor.
• Reschedule the lesson.
• Credit the missed lesson.
• Provide another reasonable remedy.

We will take reasonable steps to minimise disruption caused by timetable adjustments.

11. Late Attendance

If a student joins late, the lesson will normally end at the original scheduled time.

A tutor may leave the online classroom if the student has not joined within 15 minutes and no notice has been received. The class may then be treated as missed.

12. Technical Problems

The customer is responsible for:

• A suitable device.
• A stable internet connection.
• Compatible meeting software.
• Working speakers, headphones and microphone.

Where a class is disrupted by the student’s device or connection, the lesson may still be treated as delivered.

Where disruption is caused by our tutor or systems, we will take reasonable steps to reschedule or credit the affected lesson.

13. Cooling-Off and Cancellation Rights

Subject to applicable law:

• You may have the right to cancel the contract within 14 days after it is formed.
• Where you ask us to begin classes during that period, you may be required to pay a reasonable proportion for services supplied before cancellation.
• Where a service has been fully performed during the cancellation period following the necessary request and acknowledgement, the statutory right to cancel may end.
• Nothing in these terms removes rights that cannot legally be excluded.

To cancel, send a clear statement to aliniyahquranuk@gmail.com , including the student’s name and booking details.

14. Cancelling an Ongoing Plan

After any applicable statutory cooling-off period, you may cancel an ongoing monthly plan by giving at least [insert required notice, such as 14 days] before the next billing date.

Unless required by law or agreed otherwise:

• Cancellation takes effect at the end of the paid billing period.
• Unused classes should be completed before the end date.
• Unused lessons do not automatically roll over or qualify for a refund.
• No further monthly payment will be collected after cancellation takes effect.

15. Refunds

Refunds may be considered where:

• We cannot provide paid classes.
• A duplicate or incorrect payment has been taken.
• You exercise a statutory cancellation right.
• A refund is otherwise required by law.
• Exceptional circumstances justify a refund.

Refunds are normally returned to the original payment method.

We may deduct the value of lessons already supplied where legally permitted. This policy does not limit statutory consumer rights.

16. Tutor Allocation and Changes

We aim to provide continuity with the same tutor. However, we may change a tutor because of:

• Availability.
• Illness.
• Leave.
• Scheduling conflicts.
• Performance or safeguarding considerations.
• The student’s changing educational needs.

A specific tutor is not guaranteed unless expressly agreed.

17. Student Behaviour

Students, parents and guardians must communicate respectfully with tutors and staff.

The following are prohibited:

• Abusive, threatening, discriminatory or harassing conduct.
• Recording tutors without permission.
• Sharing meeting links with unauthorised people.
• Distributing lesson materials without permission.
• Inappropriate conduct during video classes.
• Attempts to obtain private tutor contact details for unauthorised arrangements.
• Circumventing the academy to contract directly with tutors introduced through us.

We may suspend or terminate services for serious or repeated misconduct.

18. Safeguarding

The safety and welfare of students are important to Al Niyah Quran Academy.

Parents and guardians should:

• Ensure an appropriate learning environment.
• Supervise younger children where reasonably necessary.
• Inform us of relevant learning, communication or safeguarding needs.
• Avoid leaving tutors responsible for general childcare or supervision.

Tutors must not be asked to communicate privately with a child outside approved academy channels without appropriate parental involvement.

We may report a concern to the appropriate authorities where we reasonably believe a person may be at risk or where reporting is legally required.

19. Class Recording

Classes must not be recorded, photographed, streamed or distributed without prior permission from all relevant parties.

Where recording is approved:

• The purpose will be explained.
• Access should be limited.
• The recording must not be published or shared without permission.
• Data-protection and safeguarding requirements continue to apply.

20. Intellectual Property

Course materials, lesson plans, worksheets, recordings, graphics, branding, website content and other resources belong to Al Niyah Quran Academy or the relevant rights holder.

Supplied materials may only be used for the student’s personal learning.

You must not:

• Copy or distribute materials commercially.
• Publish them online.
• Resell them.
• Remove ownership notices.
• Use our branding without permission.
• Record and redistribute lessons.

21. Privacy

Personal information is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

Online classes may require information to be shared with assigned tutors, communication providers, scheduling tools and payment services.

22. Website Use

You must not:

• Use the website unlawfully.
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access.
• Introduce malware or harmful code.
• Interfere with website performance.
• Copy substantial website content without permission.
• Submit false, misleading or fraudulent information.

We may restrict access where necessary to protect the website, users or academy.

23. Third-Party Services

We may use third-party platforms for payments, communications, scheduling, analytics or online meetings.

We are not responsible for an external provider’s independent acts, outages, security or terms. We will take reasonable steps to select suitable providers and respond appropriately when a problem affects our service.

24. Events Outside Our Control

We are not responsible for failure or delay caused by circumstances outside our reasonable control, including:

• Internet or telecommunications outages.
• Power failures.
• Severe weather.
• Natural disasters.
• Government restrictions.
• Platform outages.
• Illness or emergencies.
• Cyber incidents.
• International time-zone disruption.

We will take reasonable steps to resume services or offer an appropriate alternative.

25. Liability

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where doing so would be unlawful, including liability for:

• Death or personal injury caused by negligence.
• Fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.
• Breach of statutory consumer rights.
• Any other liability that cannot legally be excluded.

Subject to those protections, we are not responsible for:

• Losses that were not reasonably foreseeable.
• Business losses suffered by a consumer.
• Educational outcomes that depend on attendance, effort, practice or individual ability.
• Problems caused by the customer’s device, internet connection or third-party software.
• Unauthorised use of meeting details supplied to the customer.

26. Suspension and Termination

We may suspend or terminate services where:

• Fees remain unpaid.
• There is serious or repeated misconduct.
• Classes create a safeguarding concern.
• False information has been supplied.
• The service is being misused.
• Continuing the arrangement is not reasonably possible.

Where practical and appropriate, we will provide notice and an opportunity to resolve the issue.

Termination does not affect rights or obligations that arose before the termination date.

27. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms for legal, operational, safeguarding or service-related reasons.

Material changes affecting active students will be communicated with reasonable notice. Updated terms will be published on this page with a revised date.

28. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

Customers living elsewhere in the United Kingdom or another country may also retain mandatory rights under the laws applicable to them.

The courts of England and Wales will have jurisdiction, except where applicable consumer law allows a customer to bring proceedings elsewhere.

29. General Provisions

If any provision is found invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue to apply.

A delay in enforcing a right does not mean that the right has been waived.

No person other than the customer and Al Niyah Quran Academy has a right to enforce these terms unless expressly stated.

30. Contact Us
